Engaging with the ’Forest Basket’ @ The Base Ballyfermot

Description

A moment captured in The Base Ballyfermot (Dublin) where children (and adults) listen attentively to the sounds that little and large pebbles make in the forest.  I generally hold the larger pebble and children are encouraged to ’tap’ softly or loudly (as the case may be) in time with the song using the smaller pebble.  Going around the circle in this way also allows me to meet each child at the beginning of each music workshop.
