puppetry with transition Year : Session 6-8: arms and legs attached, hand elastics etc

They are really enjoying the work (as I am) but flagging a bit now they have been at it so long - we are at session 8, each session 2 hours long. Next week we will do some work on character development and story creation which should inspire them again for the last lap of making. They are looking forward to painting also and will have fun with hair, costume and props.

With the second group I will be more forceful in my attempts to persuade them to choose a simpler form (I am hoping for shadow puppets) so they have more time for story, set and character making, performance, etc. At this rate they will only have two or three sessions for that - it is a thirteen week project.

This lot fell in love with Table top as a form but it is a big making challenge for them and they are feeling it at this stage. Still, they may find at the end of the day they will consider it worth it. I intend to do some kind of evaluation to find out.
