time, growth and potatoes
Description
Within Kids` Own projects time is provided for the artist to make their response.
I have been investing this time and energy within "studio growths" - close up investigation and promotion of growth.
I am really excited by these images and delighted that my small digital camera can reveal this amount of detail. I have taken hundreds of images in the studio as part of my enquiry into various stages and forms of growth.
I have had cataract operations performed at an early age so I no longer have the capacity to focus upon a subject naturally. Various lens and glasses are employed to maximise this within certain focal ranges. More and more through my activity as an artist I find I am using my camera as an artificial eye.
