Project Outline
12 week programme making a zine* with youth group. Consisting of art, comics, writing, reviews, interviews. Finished product will be copied for distribution (eg: at Edition fair http://www.editionbookarts.com/). Youths become empowered by creating their own media. Zines are very accessible that anyone can make their own.
*A zine (an abbreviation of the word fanzine, or magazine; pronounced "zeen") is most commonly a small circulation publication of original or appropriated texts and images. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zine)
