Project Outline
Since 2009 I have been working on a project called The Happy Artist (www.thehappyartist.ie). I wanted to offer children and young people different ways of engaging with creativity, in a multidisciplinary way, across a broad range of platforms (film, painting, animation, environmental projects and bookmaking). I work a lot in partnerhsip with schools, youth organisations, Listowel Writers Week and Kerry Film Festival. There are over 30 films and animations, made by young people, available on the vimeo and you tube channels:
