How do you document your work?
Created 2011-05-09 by Practice.ie Team
Duration: 2011-05-09 to 2011-05-24
Project Outline
Our April/ May Guest Editor, Christina MacRae asked some of her peers in the UK to submit examples of documentation, as a pilot, as part of her Editorship:
"I am experimenting with ways of opening my documentation out in order to make it a mre shared, conversational and dialogic tool, instead of one mainly concerned with my own thinking. I would like to find out how other researchers, artists and teachers use documentation too as a space for reflection and for creative action."
The submissions were drawn together into a fascinating article which highlights different documentation practices among artists.
This article is available to read in the Article Section:

To build on this, we are inviting you to submit examples of documentation (photo or scanned image) to us, with a brief explanation of how you document and the importance that documentation has for you as a practitioner. To do this, create a blog, or send us your samples to info@kidsown.ie.
We will draw an analysis of this work for our next Practice Journal to explore the role that documentation plays in current practice with children and young people.
