Project Outline

The Artists in residence in Primary Schools in Kilkenny city and county each year. Artists take up residency in the schools, introducing teachers and their students to creative ideas and methods of exploration, communication and experimentation in the contemporary arts. Consisting of 12 hours contact time between artists and students, residencies employ ideas and methods that can be applied to the relevant art strands in the primary school curriculum.
