Zine Project

The 'Zine Project' was a 12 week program with a group of young people from
Shankill. The artists engage with the young people of the area to
produce a publication where the group could express their thoughts and
ideas on a range of topics.
The content of the Zine included a variety of comics, artwork, film,
music, computer game reviews and some random thoughts and insights. The
young people were encouraged to direct the project and the content was
based on their own interests and responses.
Through this project the group were given the means to publise their
artwork and ideas to a wider audience. The group are planning to
continue producing these puplications and now have the contacts within
the zine network to have their work distributed.
