Paint like the Ancients Visual Art Workshops for 7-9 year olds

Participants explore how Cavemen, Egyptians, Aborigines and Renaissance painters painted in times gone by in this exploratory and very hands-on workshop. They grind berries and moss to make paint, learn all about Egyptian hieroglyphs, paint an animal imagery onto board using sticks, feathers and their fingers, and explore renaissance methods of mixing egg white with pigment and painting onto plaster.
