Circle and Line

"Circle and Line" is the title of work-in-progress which was developed during the process of devising PAPILIO´s next show: a play for children aged 4 and younger.
Puppetter Anna Rosenfelder, musician Eoin O Brien and director Barbara Kölling collaborated on the exploration of initial ideas, which were furthered by workshops with children (please look up ISLANDS for more info). In a second rehearsal phase last November, findings were developed into a twenty-minute work-in-progress.
Try Outs took place with an audience of children (aged 3-4) from local childcare settings Mid January, kindly supported by the Mermaids Arts centre. The artists also performed to a group of mothers & toddlers/ babies (1 to 3).
The final show will premiere in June.
