Conversation is a fundamental part of any collaborative process I become involved in. Miss White also believes this activity to be important. P2, Miss White and I are spending at least a third of our contact time in this way.
I'm enjoying using the Marratech whiteboard facility as a way of developing the element of dialogue further - through the process of making it tangible in a visual sense and in real time. While we talk, we type and put up stills from the web cam and arrange on screen. Whilst I am conscious of the aesthetics as we work this aspect is largely dictated by the process itself. Who does what varies, according to the day and the specifics of each group. I don't revisit these whiteboards after to alter them in any way, as I feel they are representative of that collaborative interaction at that given time.
