Often members here on Practice.ie ask `where to find funding?` There is alot of information available online, but you may not know where to start.
Grants available
Both of the arts councils have information on their various funding deadlines, and also show previous receipients. Arts Council of Northern Ireland publishes a list of funding application deadlines.
The Arts Council of Ireland has produced a `Find Funding Tool` to help locate relevant grants.

- Artist in youth work residency 01 September 2009
- Youth arts development award 01 September 2009
These awards are operated by the National Youth Council of Ireland through their Youth Arts Programme
Visual Artists Ireland, covers all-Ireland, and keeps a list of Awards and Bursaries up -to-date.
Fundraising Sources
- The Irish Fundraising Handbook is published by Create Ireland is a comphrehensive source and guide for funding sources in Ireland. It is 20, plus 3 p+p.
- The Voluntary Arts Ireland site also has information about funding available. They have a mailing list you can join for up to date information.
- The Wheel.ie has a new site called FundingPoint.ie which is aimed towards charity and voluntary sector, but might be of some help if you`re seeking advice about raising funds from various sources to work in a local community.
- Also GrantTracker.org developed by NICVA has a comphrehensive search for grants available in Northern Ireland.
