Practice.ie held a fifth Professional Development Session at the Solstice Arts centre in Navan last month. Artists Terry O`Farrell and Anna Rosenfelder presented their work and led afternoon activities. As usual, the day was dynamic and inspiring in terms of networking, sharing and discussion. Reports to follow shortly.
About the Professional Development Sessions:
The Professional Development Sessions aim to gather artists together to share and discuss general practice working with children and young people. A number of artists present their work at each session, providing insight into a variety of approaches to practice and there are also artists-led activities to explore practice. Scheduled focus groups provide an opportunity for discussion around practical and theoretical issues relating to practice. The sessions present opportunities to meet with a number or artists from a wide range of disciplines who work with children and young people.
Artists of all backgrounds at any stage in their career who work with or are interested in working with children and young people are welcome.
