Watching Theatre : Dublin
Sharing a best practice model for engaging young people as audiences and critics for professional theatre
Up to 10 adult practitioners from youth theatres and other youth organisations from across Dublin city are invited to take part in a free training programme offered by NAYD. The programme of workshops and theatre visits will provide participants with a tried and tested approach for engaging young people with theatre as audiences.
Drawing on NAYD’s Young Critics Programme, and funded by Dublin City Council, the participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, network, see theatre productions and support the young people they work with to have a greater understanding and appreciation of how and why theatre is made.
