Practice.ie Call for Submissions for the 2011 Practice Journal
Practice.ie: Professional Network For Artists Working With Children are calling for submissions from artists under the banner of "Documentation" for inclusion in their annual publication, the Practice Journal.
This open call is in response to an article by Practice.ie’s online Guest Editor for February / March Christina McRae, which can be found here.
We are asking for artists to send images of how documentation is used in their practice (up to 6 images maximum) accompanied by a brief statement (max. 200 words) about the role of documentation in their work. We are particularly looking for artists who work with children to respond to the article by Christina McRae by raising issues with documentation when children’s art is involved.
Artists’ statements and CVs may be included with your submission if it is necessary for the understanding of the work that is being documented.

Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, 19th of October 2011.
