ABOUT THOMAS O`CONNOR:
Thomas OConnor is a visual artist with a background in structural engineering. He works with groups and communities to produce art works. He has been employed by the City of Dublin Youth Service Board (CDYSB) since 2002 in different capacities as an artist, trainer and facilitator. Between 2005 and 2008 he was artist in residence at Stoneybatter Youth Service/MOST Project which is directly managed by the CDYSB. In 2009 he began working as a Youth Worker and it is this role he has subsumed into his arts practice exploring the overlap between the two professions especially the methodologies, languages and interventions employed by both.
