NATIONAL DRAWING DAY - BUTLER GALLERY 2017
Butler Castle is a defining landmark in Kilkenny and people interact with it in many ways. The grounds surrounding it are used as leisure area, the castle itself holds treasures, history and of course, the gallery.
Using an old bed spring, card, drawing and colouring materials, each participant made a ’Castle on Springs’.
Because of using the spring, the small theatre set now has movement. An ‘alive’ moment in the Castle grounds.
