Project Outline
In conversation with the teacher, we came up with an idea around the school’s environment. Using materials such as clay, plaster and mosaic, as well as drawing, each child designed images they wanted to use to represent where the school is situated, within nature.
These children explored a range of materials they had never had an opportunity to use before. Using a veriety of materials helped the children with each of their own special abilities and created work which spoke about them and their relationship to the flora and fauna surrounding the school building.
