Project Outline
Working with Eileen McDonagh the sculptor, I compiled a class project around her new commissioned work which is to be part of the new school. The subject matter was bees and hexagons. We worked with four 5th class groups on this theme using a veriety of materials and introducing skills that touched on maths, ecology, nature studies and art. The work was done over a two week period and the drawings on plaster will form part of Eileen’s final designs on the school paving.
