Project Outline
This exhibition showcases work produced by Primary School Children involved in our annual Primary Schools classroom Based programme, in which schools visit an exhibition at West Cork Arts Centre as the basis for the development of their own project, a collaboration between pupils, teacher and facilitating artists Alison Cronin and Tess Leak.
This year the programme was inspired by Alphabet, an exhibition featuring Ireland;Alphabet series by Cork Printmakers and other work using alphabets, letters and texts. The children explored letters and words in art, print processes and other techniques to develop their own Abecedaries or other word based works.
