Background
I am a visual artist that has worked with Roundabout Youth Theatre (RYT), Ballymun since 2005. We combine different disciplines (visual art, drama, dance, sound art) to achieve a cross pollination of art forms and to give the young people a fuller understanding of the themes of the projects they participate on. Some of these projects include Tumbledowntown (winner of Spirit of the Fringe Award, Dublin Fringe Festival 2005) and Xspired Project Art Centre Dublin commission for the Dublin Fringe Festival 2006. I have just been awarded the Arts Council`s Artist in the Community Scheme Project Realisation Award for a collaborative project with RYT this Summer. This is due to be showcased at this years Dublin Fringe Festival.
