Background
After a foundation art course in Northern Ireland I completed my degree in Contemporary Crafts at MMU Cheshire concentrating on ceramics and mixed media(wood and concrete). I will complete the Pottery Skills and Design course run by the Crafts Council of Ireland in July.
Professional Statement
I am a ceramicist specialising in wheel thrown pottery making functional pieces as well as one off pieces which touch on literature and illustration. Alongside this I facilitate ceramic workshops, teaching throwing, handbuilding and raku.
