Background

My career has involved teaching Art and Design in the post primary sector in Northern Ireland. I have taught Key Stage 3, GCSE, GCE and GNVQ in the secondary and grammar school sectors, both as a teacher and as a Head of Department. My main area of specialization is ceramics but due to the nature of the job have developed skills and interests in many other areas. I am now lecturing in Art and Design in the Primary Education Department at Stranmillis University College.
