Background
Jane Remm is an artist and art educator based in Tallinn, Estonia. She has studied painting in Tartu University (BA) and Interdisciplinary Arts in Estonian Academy of Arts (MA). Currently she is studing Andragogy in Tallinn University. Her study focuses on art teacher training in the field of contemporary art. She is working in Sally Stuudio art school, as an art teacher and project coordinator. Sally Stuudios is known as an art school which is dealing with contemporary art issues, breaking borders between youth and professional art and dealing with topics which are actual in society and environment. The latest greates international project has been Eksperimenta! The Contemporary Art Triennial for School Students (www.eksperimenta.net). As an artist she is active in the fields of painting, installation, video art, dealing mostly with the issues of time and memory. She has had solo and group exhibitions in Estonia, Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, Japan.
