Background

My research has been in the area of virtual communities for children in hospital. The culmination of this research ongoing since 2002 has resulted in two key developments �it Eile (Another World) www.aiteile.ie and Solas www.solas.ie. This work aims to tackle some of the psycho social issues that children in hospital in particular those with chronic illness endure.
