Background
Amantine Dahan was born in 1973 in Morocco and has lived in Ireland since 1998. She has a Fine art Degree in Sculpture from The university of Galway Technical Institute.Galway, 2006 .
and has been working as a community artist/ fascilitator, notably at The Galway Arts Centre since 2003 ; and Burning Bright in association with age action 2005-2008.

.Professional Statement
My interest is to create a safe space for children to explore their creative potential without the institutional legacy.Contemporary Art needs a very lateral approach that children grasp very quickly.I try to ally theorie with practise and give them an overall experience .Working in an Art Center gives the children a unique opportunity to see real artist work. I make a link and get them to remember , sustain , and finally create their own work. They are more able than we are to connect, engage travel regions that are sometimes bear to us but fruitfull to them .. I try to come to their level and widen their frame of reference without changing the original impulse..I am interested in all mediums depending on age groups and preferences.
