About the artist

Artist Ann Henderson and Teacher Judith White have worked together for 10 years. In this interview Ann and Judith discuss the nature of their relationship, the impact of their work together, the value of documentation, learning to slow down and learning to listen to children.


 

About the project

Ann and Judith are currently working together on the Virtually There project. It is a virtual artist in residence programme. Ann Henderson communicates from her studio to the children in Judith’s classroom. The most recent phase of this project took place from January to June 2012.  Ann worked with 22 children in the class aged 4/5 yrs of age.  There are 6 other teachers and artists taking part in this programme. The artists, teachers and children keep on online journal. Please visit the journal here to find out more.
