Anne O Gorman

Anne O’Gorman hails from Co Tipperary where she worked initially as a freelance drama practitioner and Artistic Director of Strange Snow Youth Theatre from where she moved to the Outreach Department of the Abbey Theatre. She developed and ran the Children’s/Youth Arts Programme at Draiocht, Blanchardstown for 3 ½ years before taking over the Arts Programme at the National Youth Council of Ireland in 2008, where part of her role is as co ordinator of the NUI Certificate in Youth Arts. Anne was the Irish Animateur at EDERED (European Drama Encounter) 2004 in Vienna and is a board member of Kids Own Publishing Partnership and member of the working group for Writehere.ie. Anne holds a BA from University College Cork and A HDip in Arts Administration from University College Dublin.
